We are now expanding our administrative team and are seeking an Remote Office Coordinator / Administrator.
Location/Schedule:
This is a hybrid position. Administrative work is performed from home. If called out into the field as an emergency dog walker/pet sitter, you would be expected to be able to visit any client's home within our service area.
We need someone consistently available Monday - Friday from 10am to 3pm.
The position will start closer to 15-20 hours weekly, but you may be asked to work additional hours as an emergency dog walker/pet sitter.
Floofins & Co. services Brookfield, Burr Ridge, Clarendon Hills, Darien, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Hinsdale, Indian Head Park, La Grange, Lisle, Lombard, Oak Brook, Villa Park, Westchester, Western Springs, Westmont, Willowbrook, Wheaton, Woodridge and nearby communities.
Compensation/Benefits:
$18 - 20 / hour

Administrative responsibilities:
Tracking new hire paperwork, maintaining HR files, and scheduling orientation
Scheduling all live and online training, tracking Floofin University progress
Tracking and performing/assigning inspections
Tracking close-out paperwork, close-out systems restrictions, supply collection and exit interviews
Manage the Floofins & Co. educational program by reviewing employee course work and making recommendations for improvement/updating
Cross train on daily client care tasks and fill in for the Manager of Operations & Client Care as needed
Assist Manager of Operations & Client Care with key management and key ferrying as needed
Cross train on daily accounting tasks and fill in for Manager of Operations & Client Care needed
Participating in the prospecting procedure, including pitching new clients by phone, web chat and e-mail
Participating in the new client intake procedure, including new client setups and leading new client consultation meetings by appointment
Summer marketing event participation and holiday gift production assistance/distribution
Other miscellaneous projects as determined by management
Petcare responsibilities:
For dog walks, you will take a walk with your canine friend(s), serve fresh water, and, upon request, provide treats, food, or medication.
For cat sitting, you’ll play with cats (of course), plus scoop the litter box, refresh water, and provide treats, food, or medication.
Vacation clients may include an array of animals and their care and home care basics like curbing the trash and picking up mail.
During all visits, you will send a journal of your adventures to the pet parent with cute action photos!
